USウィスコンシンを拠点に活動するSSW、マルチアーティストJulian Lynchによる2010年作3rdアルバムがHuman Sounds Recordsによりカセットテープ化。リリース当時、ウィスコンシン大学マディソン校で民族音楽学を専攻し、並行してSmithsonian Folkways Recordings（スミソニアン学術協会とアメリカ国営スミソニアン博物館の傘下に置かれた非営利レコード・レーベル、世界中の民族音楽を膨大にアーカイヴしている）で働いていたという経歴から研究者としての顔も伺える求道者。PitchforkにてBest New Musicアワードを獲得した今作は幾重にも重なる歴史や情報に加えて、氏の妄想渦巻くローファイ・ベッドルーム・ワールドミュージック。
